'Tulip Magnolia' // Paintings + Works on Paper

April 28, 2026

The 'Tulip Magnolia' Series is inspired by the shift towards longer days, where there is a little more ease in the air. Days held somewhere between blooming and becoming. As with my other series, I was inspired by a photograph in which the flowers felt almost suspended in motion and light. I kept coming back to that feeling while working, letting it guide each layer. This collection sits in that in-between moment, the blooms are fresh, and the air just feels a little bit lighter.

There’s a quiet shift in this body of work, like the season turning quietly. As Winter leaves, everything feels a little more open. The tulip magnolia sits right in that change, soft but certain. A slow bloom, you nearly miss, until it’s fully there. These pieces live in that in-between space, where things are just beginning, and the light begins to linger a little longer.

There are still a few pieces from this collection available. You can shop the full collection here.
