Studio Manager + Designer
Location: Charleston, SC - in person
Full-time: Estimated 32-40 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in graphic arts, design, communications or related field
- Well-developed planning, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet shifting deadlines
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work without close supervision
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic about working collaboratively
- Confident in all relevant graphic design software skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficiency with Shopify is a plus
STUDIO RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations:
- Manage customer service + client email correspondence
- Troubleshoot customer service issues when they arise and provide solutions
- Order materials for framing, packaging + shipping
- Update and maintain internal databases of artwork, designs, photography, video, etc.
- Manage all wholesale accounts
- Determine pricing for artwork and various products by analyzing costs + markup value
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and social media management
- Plan and execute photoshoots and other various events
- Shipping + packing as needed
Design:
- Photoshop product images
- Develop and execute visual, graphic materials for internal and external needs, including digital and print.
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and delivered on schedule
- Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs

Studio Operations Assistant
Location: Charleston, SC - in person
Part-time: Estimated 20-32 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred, not required)
- Well-developed planning, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet shifting deadlines
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work without close supervision
- Positive, can-do attitude with the willingness to be a team player
- Proficiency with Mac
- Proficiency with Shopify is a plus
STUDIO RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Fulfillment and Production:
- Package and ship orders in Shopify
- Frame and ship original artwork purchases
- Troubleshoot customer service issues when they arise, and provide solutions with coordinating team members
- Support the artist and studio manager as the point person for studio related needs – includes tasks like running local errands to photoshoot preparation.
Inventory:
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct periodic physical counts of products and prints for low stock, updating inventory in Shopify as needed
- Assist with replenishing studio supplies to make sure everything is in place to complete production and ship orders in a timely manner
